Day 1 – 02.04.2018 / Monday - Moscow

19:15 – Departure from Moscow (airport Sheremetyevo) to Tokyo, flight # SU-260 (Airbus A330-300) by Aeroflot, overnight flight.

Day 2 – 03.04.2018 / Tuesday - Tokyo

Cherry blossom is not only the most wonderful time in Japan but the shortest one. That’s why it is very important to spend the days of your travel in the most efficient way. With our spring Grand Tour you will visit the most interesting spots, such as castles, temples, parks, and gardens, enjoy tea ceremony and geisha performance, and the most significantly will see cherry blossom in its full splendor!

10:35 – Arrival at international airport Narita in Tokyo. Passing of passport control.
11:00 – Meeting with a guide, holding “Magic Tour” sign, at the arrival terminal. Transferring to the center of Tokyo by comfortable coach from the airport bus parking.  

12:30 – Meiji Jingu.
The Meiji period was remarked by Japan’s rejection of self-isolation and its establishment as a world power, which Emperor Mutsuhito contributed by all means. In honor of his significant role in the restoration, the parliament decided to found a shrine, known as Meiji Shrine now, and devote it to the imperial couple.  

13:30 – Takeshita Dori.
Takeshita Dori is a small promenade with a number of shops, boutiques, and cafes. Here, you can find unique clothes and accessories of different styles whether it is original design good or “high fashion” at very low prices.

14:30 – Visiting the best souvenir shop "Oriental bazaar" in Tokyo.

15:00 – Visiting Tsukiji fish market with lunch.

It is one of the largest wholesale fish and sea food markets, although you can find here any other product too. The market is located in the central part of Tokyo and is one of the main attractions for foreign tourists. You will have a site tour in the market and have a gourmet lunch here.  

17:00  Sky Tree observation deck.

Tokyo Sky Tree is the newest television tower with the height of 634 meters – a recognized world record. Mainly, the tower is used for digital television and radio broadcasting, mobile telephony and navigation systems. There are two observation platforms for visitors in Tokyo Sky Tree, which are the highest in Japan with a spectacular city view.

Day 3 – 04.04.2018 / Wednesday – Kanazawa

08:30 – Departure to Kanazawa by bullet train.
The supreme power of Kanazawa belonged to one of the strongest clans after Tokugawa clan, Maeda clan. Nowadays this city is famous for its historical and cultural attractions, which are not few. Moreover, Kanazawa is famous for its museums and one of the most beautiful gardens in Japan.

12:30 - Kenrokuen garden
Kenrokuen garden is one the most famous gardens in Japan.  Kenrokuen means "having six factors" that sends us to an old Chinese book about gardens. According to this book, it is required to strive to six main elements which are spaciousness, tranquility, artifice, antiquity, water courses, and magnificence view.

14:30 - Lunch at a Japanese restaurant.

15:30 - Naga-machi Buke Yashiki, Samurais' district.
The most famous vassals of Maeda clan were located in samurais’ district during a golden era of Edo period in Kanazawa. It is very easy to lose time account while walking along narrow streets of the district looking at the houses with the thatched roof.

17:00 - 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art.
The Museum of Contemporary Art opened its door in October 2004. There are many interactive installations and exhibits, that visitors can interact with in the museum. From the architecture point of view, the museum amazes imagination: round construction with five exits mainly made of the glass and reminds UFO of its shape.

Day 4 – 05.04.2018 / Thursday – Shirakawa-go

07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
09:00 – Departure to Shirakawa-go by comfortable coach.
Shirakawa-go is a village located in the north of Gifu prefecture. The village is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is famous for its Gasso-zukuri houses that means “hands in prayer” since the thatched roofs of houses resemble the hands of Buddhist monks pressed to each other in prayer. The architecture style of the houses has developed for several generations and designed for a large amount of heavy snow that falls in the region in winter. The roofs are made without a single nail, a large loft space is used for growing silkworms.
12:00 – Kanda house.
Kanda house is a picturesque house that is well preserved and was turned into a museum. It is located in the center of the city, so, if you climb to the top floor you will find a beautiful view of the surrounding houses from the windows.
13:00 – Wada house.
Wada family was one of the richest families in the village. Their former house is the largest house in the village and now it is opened to the public as a museum.
14:00 – Lunch at a restaurant (Japanese cuisine).
15:00 – Myozenji Temple.
The unique character of the temple is that its roof is made of straw instead of typical roof tiles as on most temples.
16:00 – Observation Deck.
You will see all the beauty of colorful landscapes and entire Japanese village, which is famous for its unusual roofs, from the observation deck.
17:00 – Departure to Kanazawa.
19:00 – Arrival at the hotel in Kanazawa.

Day 5 – 06.04.2018 / Friday - Kyoto

07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel.
08:30 – Departure to Kyoto from Kanazawa by bullet train.
Kyoto was a capital of Japan from 794 till 1868 years, where Japanese emperors lived. There are 2000 temples and shrines (17 of them are designated a UNESCO world heritage sites), hundreds of parks and dozens of ancient palaces in Kyoto.
10:30 – Arrival at Kyoto, meeting with a guide.
11:00 – Fushimi Inari Shrine. 
It is the main Shinto shrine in Kyoto dedicated to the deity Inari, the patroness of rice. According to the myth, the goddess Inari used foxes as her messengers, it explains the huge number of fox statues on the territory of the shrine. Also, Fushimi Inari is famous for its “endless” path of vermilion gates, extending from the bottom to the top of the mounting.  
12:00 – Visiting Nishijin Tondaya textile house with a tea ceremony.
Tondaya is a wholesale company owned by Tanaka family, has been known as a leader in the field of kimono tailoring for many centuries. In 1868 manufacture moved from Fushimi to Nishijin, at the same time Tondaya textile house was built.  The house is registered as cultural heritage in Japan and visiting it is an extraordinary opportunity to touch the true spirit of Japan.
13:30 – Lunch at a restaurant (Japanese cuisine).
14:30  Sanjusangendo Temple.
Sanjusangedo is a temple in the eastern part of Kyoto, where an extensive collection of 1001 statues of Bodhisattva, the goddess of Mercy is collected. The name Sanjusangendo is translated into English as “33 intervals” which is also related to many-faced Kannon who has 33 guises, which is reflected in the inner layout of the temple. The temple is also the longest wooden construction in Japan.  
16:00 – Performance in "Gion Corner".
"Gion Corner" – is a place, where you can get acquainted with different kinds of traditional Japanese art performed by apprentice geisha, maiko. You will see a Kio-mai dance, compilation of flower compositions, tea ceremony, a scene from Kyogen, a puppet theater and much more.
18:00 – Departure to Osaka.
19:00 – Check-in at a hotel in Osaka.

Day 6 – 07.04.2018 / Saturday – Kyoto

07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00 – Kokedera Temple (moss temple).
Kokedera Temple also called “Moss Temple”, achieved prominence for its vast garden, where 120 kinds of different mosses grow. Later, Kokedera had a strong influence on the developing Japanese art of decorating gardens. The temple complex is registered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
10:30 – Toei Kyoto Studio Park Eigamura.
Eigamura is a large complex, also known as a theme park for tourists and as a film set. There is e real town from Edo era, with many traditional buildings of that period, on the territory of the complex. The streets of Eigamura are often used as scenery for the filming of historical films. Visitors can not just walk around the old village, but also change in a costume of a real geisha or warrior, and even see the real filming. 
13:00 – Lunch in a local restaurant (Japanese cuisine).
14:00 – Excursion in Arashiyama district.
Arashiyama is one of the most popular areas in Kyoto since Heian period when the Japanese aristocracy came here to admire natural views. Arashiya is especially beautiful during the cherry blossom and Momiji maples seasons.
14:30 – A walk along the Bamboo path.
A walk along the famous Bamboo Path in Arashiyama is compared to travelling to a parallel world. The bamboo with incredible height surround you all the way, pass through their stems a mysterious greenish light, which in turn creates a feeling of some magic. According to an ancient legend, once a dynasty of bamboo spirits settled in the forest, which protects these places.  
15:00 – Tenryuji Temple. 
Tenryuji Temple is the main Zen Buddhist temple in Arashiyama, built in 1339. The temple is known not only for its complex building but also for its amazingly beautiful garden and views of the mountain hills. The center of the scenic garden is a pond surrounded by stones and pines. 
16:00 – Purchase of souvenirs and visiting hot spring in Arashiyama.
17:00 – Departure to Osaka.
18:30 – Check-in at a hotel in Osaka.

Day 7 – 08.04.2018 / Sunday – Osaka

Day 8 – 09.04.2018 / Monday – Himeji-Awaji-shima

Himeji is the largest city of Hyogo prefecture with its rich cultural and historical heritage. Its main attraction is Himeji Castle, which you are going to visit as part of our programme.
10:00 – Himeji Castle. 
It is also called “White Egret Castle” and is considered the most beautiful castle in Japan. It is notable, that the Himeji Castle remains intact till our days unlike many other Japanese castles affected by earthquakes or wars. It is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  
12:30 – Lunch at a restaurant.
13:30 – Departure to Awaji-shima.
You will go to Awaji-shima on the Akashi-Kaikyo bridge, mentioned in the Guinness Book of Records, as the longest and tallest bridge in the world.  
14:00 – Ferris wheel. 
The famous Ferris wheel of Awaji-shima will give you a breathtaking land view.   
15:30 – Check-in at 4 stars ryokan «Kyukamura Minami Awaji Hotel ".
After the excursion, you will have the opportunity to have a rest in traditional Japanese ryokan with a wide choice of hot springs and spa-treatments. You will be accommodated in European style rooms, including dinner and breakfast.
19:00 – Dinner at a ryokan.

Day 9 – 10.04.2018 / Tuesday – Awaji-shima-Kobe

10:00 – Visiting observation deck Naruto - whirlpool.
Whirlpools occur in the Naruto Strait, which connects the city of Naruto and the island of Awaji. You will visit observation deck at Awaji Island, and walk along the bridge which connects Awaji Island and Shikoku Island.
11:00 – Yumebutai Botanical Garden.
Yumebutai garden is a unique combination of artificial and natural creations. Flowerbeds, descending down the slope of the mountain, are the main highlight of the garden. A variety of flowers combination amazes the imagination, and you can even see tablets with different wishes on some flowerbeds.
13:00 – Lunch at a restaurant (Japanese cuisine).
14:00 – Departure to Kobe.
15:00 – Walk along the sea-front and cruise.
You will have a classic European tea ceremony with a variety of snacks on the modern cruiser "Concerto" surrounded by beautiful landscapes. You will enjoy live music and views of Awaji, as well as the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge during the cruise.
16:00 – Transfer to Kobe station.
17:24 – Departure to Tokyo from Kobe by bullet train. 20:33 – Arrival in Tokyo station. Transfer to the hotel by yourself.
21:00 – Check-in at a hotel in Tokyo.
