Day 1 - 28.03.2018 / Wednesday – Moscow

19:15 – Departure from Moscow (airport Sheremetyevo) to Tokyo, flight # SU-260 (Airbus A330-300) by Aeroflot, overnight flight.

Day 2 – 29.03.2018 / Thursday - Tokyo
Cherry blossom time is one of the most beautiful periods of the sunrise country. The whole country is covered with a pink veil of blooming flowers of famous Japanese cherry trees. Tourists come to admire this magnificent scene from around the world.  
10:35 – Arrival at international airport Narita in Tokyo. Passing of passport control.
11:00 – Meeting with a guide, holding “Magic Tour” sign, at the arrival terminal. Transferring to the center of Tokyo by comfortable coach from the airport bus parking.  
12:00 – Asakusa district.
It is the district of Tokyo with the atmosphere of the past decades. Asakusa was a leading entertainment district of Tokyo for many centuries. It is always noisy, crowded and festive at any time of the year. A number of narrow streets give you a good variety of restaurants, stores, play grounds and parks.
Asakusa Kannon Temple.
It is the temple where the legendary Ieyasu came to seek the favor of the Gods before the decisive battle of Sekigahara. If you are going to have a decisive battle in your life - seize the moment and visit this temple!
Nakamise Shopping Street.
The shopping street goes from outer gate of the temple and has the length of 200 m. You can buy Japanese souvenirs such as yukata and fan, as well as try different traditional local food here. Nakamise Shopping Street has a history for several centuries.
13:00 – Lunch at the restaurant (Japanese cuisine).
14:30 – Edo-Tokyo Museum.
The museum is dedicated to the history of Edo city, which was renamed as Tokyo during Meiji era. The design of museum’s building resembles an old warehouse with a height of 62.2m, which is equal to the height of ancient Edo castle.  The museum acquaints with the history of the city from its establishment in 1590 by shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu and till nowadays.  
17:00 – Tokyo Tower.
Tokyo Tower is 13 meters higher than its model the Eiffel Tower in Paris and is the highest self-supporting steel tower in the world. The construction of the tower was completed in 1958 and was a symbol of the revival of Japan as a great economic power. Visitors can go to the observation deck at a height of 150 meters and see Fuji Mountain during clear weather.

Day 3 – 30.03.2018 / Friday – Kamakura-Yokohama
07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
09:00 – Meeting with the guide at the hotel’s lobby and departure to Kamakura for an excursion.
Kamakura city is one of the oldest capitals of Japan located on the Pacific coast, it was established in 1192 year. The city is small, quit and scenic, with large numbers of ancient Buddhist temples.

10:00 – Daibutsu Statue – The Great Buddha Statue. 
This statue of Buddha is the second largest statue of Buddha in Japan (the largest one is located in Nara). The height of the statue is 11.4 m, weight is 93 tones. Sitting Buddha in the open air and green hills create a beautiful view. It was cast in 1252 year. The statue, probably, was made by Ono Goryomon or Tanshi Hisatomo, who were leading Japanese sculptors from the bronze of that time. In a certain period of time, the statue was gild. There are still traces of gilding near the ears of the statue until now.
11:00 – Hasedera Temple. 
The temple was built in 736 year. You will be amazed at the eleven-headed statue of Kannon, the goddess of mercy, 9.5 meters high. Another attraction of the temple is a giant bell, cast in 1264 – the oldest in Kamakura. It is declared as the most important cultural value of Japan. You will be completely lost in the atmosphere of 12 century, feel like a part of the great past.

14:00 – Hachimangu Shrine.
Hachimangu Shrine is the most important shrine of Kamakura. It was established in 1063 year by representatives of Minamoto family. The shrine is dedicated to the god of war as well as to the memory of legendary Emperor Ojin Hachiman. Warriors of Yoritomo practiced in yabusame, archery from a horse, here. In order to get to the shrine, you need to walk from seafront through the entire city center on long and wide passage with several Tori gates along the way. The main hall stands on a terrace at the top of the wide staircase. The shrine and museum, where holy sites such as swords, masks, and documents are kept, are located in the main hall.   

15:00 – Departure to Yokohama.
Yokohama is a metropolis, the largest port of Japan, be ready that the reality will surpass your boldest expectations.

16:00 – Landmark Tower.
The tower is the tallest building in Yokohama and the third tallest building in Japan. The height of the building is 296.3 meters. The building construction was completed in 1993 year. The highest observation deck in the country is located on the skyscraper of the tower.

17:00 – Harbor of the Future “Minato Mirai”.
Minato Mirai is the most famous district which is located in the central part of Yokohama and translated from Japanese as “harbor of the future”. There are many multistoried office buildings, luxury hotels, department stores, restaurants, conference halls, exhibition complexes.

19:00 – Arrival at the hotel in Tokyo.

Day 4 – 31.03.2018 / Saturday – Nikko

12:00 Toshogu Shrine
Toshogu is the final resting place of great commander and statesman shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa (1543-1616 г.), who at the turn of the 17th century succeeded in seizing the supreme power in Japan and putting an end to the bloody internal wars that had exhausted the country. The best painters and artisans were gathered from all over the country to work on the Sanctuary.

14:00 Kegon Waterfall
The waterfall is located on Daiya river, which flows from the eastern part of mountain lake Chuzenji. Once, the bed of the river was blocked by lava flows of an awakened volcano, and now it falls from a height of 97 meters, barely leaving the lake. Kegon is one of the three most beautiful waterfalls in Japan.
18:30 – Arrival at the hotel in Tokyo.

Day 5 – 01.04.2018 / Sunday - Hakone

Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park is the main attraction of Japan. The combination of spectacular spots such as Fuji Mountain, hot springs, volcanic islands with tropical vegetation, and five famous lakes of Fuji Mountain magnetizes tourists during the year.
10:30 – Kuzuryu Jinja
Kuzuryu Jinja is located on the territory of Hakone shrine complex. According to the legend, the shrine is dedicated to a dragon who once settled in waters of Ashi Lake. In order to save people, a chief monk ordered the construction of a stupa in the river, which turned the dragon on to the goddess Ryujin – the protector of Hakone shrine. 
12:00  Lake Ashi cruise.
Located in Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, Lake Ashi is one of the main sights of this area. Mount Fuji is reflected in the water of Lake Ashi, framed by a pattern of slender pine trees. You can admire beautiful scenery during a cruise on this “piece of paradise” in the mountains.   

13:00 – Lunch at the restaurant (buffet).

14:00 – The Hakone Open Air Museum.
The Hakone Open Air Museum transfuses a harmonious combination of wild and artificial creations – natural beauties and arts in its different manifestations. You will find interactive installations, abstract sculptures, as well as a gallery with Pablo Picasso works in the museum. Needless to say about fantastic views of the hills and mountains of Hakone!

16:30 – Check-in at 5stars ryokan “Tenseien”.
Attention! Accommodation at ryokan is possible only in the double room.

After the excursion, you will have a free time for rest. There is a good selection of hot springs in the ryokan. You will enjoy unforgettable scenery, taking a hot spring, walk through the large territory of the hotel complex, breathing fresh air and feel real Japanese pacification. 19:00 – Dinner at the ryokan.

Day 6 – 02.04.2018 / Monday – Kyoto
07:00 – Breakfast at the ryokan. Check out from the ryokan.
08:30 – Departure to Kyoto from Odawara station by bullet train.
Kyoto was a capital of Japan from 794 till 1868 years, where Japanese emperors lived. There are 2000 temples and shrines (17 of them are designated a UNESCO world heritage sites), hundreds of parks and dozens of ancient palaces in Kyoto.
12:30 – Arrival to Kyoto, meeting with a guide.
13:00  Sanjusangendo Temple.
Sanjusangedo is a temple in the eastern part of Kyoto, where an extensive collection of 1001 statues of Bodhisattva, the goddess of Mercy is collected. The name Sanjusangendo is translated into English as “33 intervals” which is also related to many-faced Kannon who has 33 guises, which is reflected in the inner layout of the temple.    
14:30 – Lunch at the restaurant (Japanese cuisine).
15:30 – Nijo castle.
Nijo castle is one of the largest stone castles in Japan. It was built in 1603 and was the official residence of the first shogun of Tokugawa clan - Ieyasu. The castle was designated a UNESCO world heritage site. It is prohibited to take photos in many places of the castle, so all that is lacking is to contemplate all beauty of internal furnish of this masterpiece on a place. There is no even one deciduous tree in the castle’s garden, according to a legend falling leaves reminded the shogun of death.   
17:00  Departure to Osaka.
18:00  Umeda Sky Building.
The seventh tallest building in Osaka city consists of two towers connected to each other at the top by the “Floating Garden Observatory” on the 39th floor. The observation deck from the height of the 39th floor gives you a view of the huge living metropolis which is a truly spectacular sight. Initially, it was planned to build “Air city” and the towers should be four instead of two. However, taking into account the funding possibilities the towers were cut back and Umeda Sky Building was created.

Day 7 – 03.04.2018 / Tuesday – Osaka - Nara
07:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.

Osaka is the second largest city in Japan. Its favorable geographical location was one of the reasons for turning it into a thriving trade center. A number of canals give picturesqueness to the city. Osaka is called Japanese Venice.
09:30 – Osaka Castle.
The castle was the largest and most fortified in Japan at the moment of erection in 1582 year. The castle was supposed to personify all the power and wealth of its owner Hideyoshi Toyotomi, a military leader, who united Japan. Currently, the castle is a museum about Hideyoshi’s life and history of Osaka castle.
11:00  Departure to Nara.
Nara is the most ancient capital of Japan (710-784) and is considered the cradle of Japanese culture and art. The city was built based on the model of Chinese capital Chang’an. There are numerous temples, shrines, and buildings left since ancient times. The main Japanese crafts, traditions, and sciences appeared here.
12:30  Lunch at the restaurant (Japanese cuisine).
13:30  Todaiji Temple.
Todaiji is the largest wooden construction in the world, the giant bronze statue of Buddha Vairocana, the biggest statue of Buddha in Japan, is sitting under arches of the temple. Today Todaiji temple is designated a UNESCO world heritage sites.
14:30 – Kasuga Taisha Shrine.
Kasuga Taisha is the main shrine in Nara. There are many constructions in the shrine’s complex territory which are declared as the National Treasure of Japan. Kasuga Taisha shrine is famous for its lanterns, the number of those is more than 3000 and each lantern was donated by pilgrims, who had come here for centuries.    
15:00  Nara Park.
More than 1500 dear live in the park, which are considered “divine messengers”. According to the legend once the first Japanese emperor came to Nara by riding a dear and right from the sky. Since that time, all descendants of this dear are revered by the Japanese and live in many gardens and parks of the city. 
Attention: the authorities ask not to feed animals whatever turns up but only special food which is sold in many kiosks.
17:00 – Arrival at the hotel in Osaka.

Day 8 – 04.04.2018 / Wednesday - Kyoto

10:00  Kinkakuji – Golden Pavilion.
It is the main Buddhist temple, the foundation of Zen Buddhism, where Buddha’s relics are kept and covered with gold leaf. The roof of the temple is also covered with thin gold leaf. There is a pine tree near the temple and gardeners of several generations are given the shape of a floating ship to it.

11:30  Ryoan-ji Temple, Rock Garden.
There are fifteen stones in the garden, however, if look at the stones from veranda only 14 stones can be seen from any place. Traditionally, it is believed that to see the 15th stone is possible only through enlightenment.

13:00  Lunch at a local restaurant (Japanese cuisine).
14:00 Show with geisha*.
Geisha* is a traditional Japanese artist, who entertains her clients with dance, singing, tea ceremony, conversation. Literally, the word geisha is translated from Japanese as “a person of art”.  

15:00 – Kiyomizudera Temple.
The temple is located on the slope of Higashi Mountain (Eastern Mountain). It was built in 778 year. Kiyomizudera is famous for its unusual construction: it stands on the slope of a high hill and as if “descends” along this slope with its wooden pillars, built without a single nail.

16:00  Kiyomizu Zaka Street.
There are many traditional shops, selling souvenirs and handicrafts along the street. In 19th century travelers from the West called that street “Alley of Teapots”.
18:30 – Transfer to Kyoto station.
18:56 – Departure from Kyoto to Tokyo by bullet train.
21:33 – Arrival in Tokyo station. Transfer to the hotel by yourself.
22:00 – Check-in at a hotel in Tokyo.
